The San Antonio Chapter of AFP offers a variety of resources to help non-profit leaders enhance their skills, link to best practices and develop new leaders. One resource for newcomers to the fundraising profession to consider is our mentoring program.
Mentoring Program
- Program duration: July 2009 to February 2010 (8 month commitment)
- Suggested minimum contact requirements (mentee and mentor):
· Monthly face-to-face meetings between mentor and mentee
· Mentee attends monthly AFP luncheon
· Mentee and mentor attend AFP Philanthropy Day event
· Mentee attends AFP-SA Annual Conference
- Application deadline of Monday, June 1 for mentees and mentors.
· Mentors will have the CFRE certification or 10 years experience in the field.
· Mentees limited to newcomers with five years or less experience and current AFP-SA members only.
4. Mentee fee: $25.00
